Supply Chain Manager (Coordinator)

Job Title: SCM COORDINATOR Reporting To: SCM Head Location: Local / Project-Based JOB PURPOSE The SCM Coordinator will support the effective execution of supply chain activities by ensuring timely purchase order management, material planning, vendor coordination, compliance, reporting, and project support. The role requires strong ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver SCM activities within strict timelines while minimizing supply chain-related gaps that could impact project execution. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Purchase Order Management Ensure timely creation and amendment of Purchase Orders (POs) within agreed Turnaround Times (TAT). Monitor open POs and follow up to ensure timely closure. Maintain accurate PO records and documentation. 2. Material Planning & Supply Coordination Support material planning and monitor demand versus supply requirements. Coordinate material availability to support project execution. Identify potential material shortages or delays and escalate issues promptly. Ensure there are no project or site delays resulting from SCM-related gaps. 3. Vendor & Partner Coordination Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and project partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Follow up on outstanding vendor issues and drive timely resolution. Maintain effective relationships with vendors and other SCM stakeholders. 4. Compliance & Process Management Ensure compliance with applicable SCM processes, policies, and project requirements. Monitor compliance with Rate, PTW, JMS, audit, and other relevant controls . Maintain proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes. 5. WCC & Invoice Management Track WCC submission and ensure documentation is completed within agreed timelines. Monitor invoice submission and follow up with relevant stakeholders to prevent delays. Support timely resolution of invoice-related issues. 6. MIS Reporting & KPI Tracking Prepare and maintain daily SCM Management Information System (MIS) reports. Track key SCM performance indicators and provide regular updates to management. Analyze SCM data to identify delays, trends, gaps, and areas for improvement. Maintain accurate and timely SCM records and reports. 7. Project & Site Support Provide SCM coordination support for ongoing projects. Work closely with project and site teams to understand material and supply requirements. Ensure SCM activities are aligned with project timelines and execution plans. Drive proactive resolution of supply chain issues to achieve zero site misses caused by SCM gaps . KEY REQUIREMENTS Education Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management , or a related field. MBA in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline is an advantage. Experience 2–5 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Management. Experience in Telecom, Infrastructure, Engineering, or Project-based environments is preferred. Technical Skills Strong experience in Purchase Order (PO) management . Good knowledge of material planning and demand vs. supply management . Strong vendor and supplier coordination skills. Good knowledge of SCM processes and compliance requirements. Strong Excel and data analysis skills. Experience preparing MIS reports and tracking KPIs. Core Competencies Strong coordination and communication skills.
