WE ARE HIRING: HEAD OF OPERATIONS Location: Lagos, Nigeria Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Luxury Retail / Fashion Our Client is seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead and optimise operations across logistics, inventory management, operational compliance and boutique performance. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership across the operational function, drive efficiency and ensure consistent operational standards across all boutiques. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead overall operational strategy and performance. • Oversee logistics, stock movement and distribution activities. • Provide leadership to the Inventory function, which reports directly to this role. • Oversee inventory planning, stock control, reconciliations and stock accuracy. • Monitor slow-moving, excess and ageing inventory. • Drive operational compliance, controls and risk management. • Monitor boutique operational performance and KPIs. • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement improvement initiatives. • Manage logistics partners and operational service providers. • Lead and develop Operations and Inventory teams. • Collaborate with Finance, Retail, Procurement, Sales and other functions. REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field. • 8–12 years’ experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, inventory or retail management. • Proven experience managing multi-site or multi-location operations. • Strong inventory, logistics and operational control experience. • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Experience with ERP/inventory management systems. • Luxury retail, fashion, FMCG or premium consumer goods experience is highly desirable.
