• Role: Rotation 4x4 • Location: Bulisa, Uganda • Start: March 2026 • Duration: 18+ months with possibility of extension • Rate: To be shared to shortlisted candidates Qualifications/Experience required • Diploma of Higher Education or BTCE. Education on operational safety, production operations, well operations • 7 years, and 2 years in similar position • Ability to use sound rational judgement in decision-making. • Familiar with DCS • Familiar with MC Office • Good knowledge of Major oil operators or Energies HSE Safety Rules, SIMOPS, PTW System, or equivalent in Oil & Gas industry. • Ability to work under pressure and stressful conditions. • Ability to use Breathing Apparatus – Cascade and / or Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus • Adaptability and ability to work in an international environment. • Good communication skills. Clear and concise reporting both verbal and written, • Fluent in English (>3.5). • Valid medical certificate per company standards. Duties to be carried out: • Prepare start-up procedures. Prepare systems for start-up. • Starting up the well pad safely • Sharing experience with new-comers • Safe and strict compliance with work management systems and operational procedures. • Keep process ongoing safe and act immediately in case of emergency. • Monitor personnel, equipment, and ongoing activities in the whole site with focus on HSE aspects of working teams. • Minimize short falls for production and injection. • Keep reporting up to date. • Clear communication regarding process and safety in condition of shifts and rotations. • Operating and isolating authority onsite and certified gas tester duty. • Ensure a safe and efficient restart of equipment after shutdown. • Member of the ERT acting in multiple roles depending on specific training completion (FiFi, Rescue, Stretcher Team, Confine Space Rescue, etc.)..
