Summary: Oversee all yard management activities and ensure that the required controls and processes are in place to deliver a high level of service. Provide strong leadership and supervision so that contractors and subcontractors perform yard activities in accordance with company procedures and QHSE requirements. Coordinate and implement audits and act as the principal yard contact for client and regulatory enquiries. Responsibilities: Yard Operations and Service Delivery: Lead the safe, compliant and efficient execution of all yard operations and material flows. Implement operational processes for material reception, storage, inspection and dispatch. Manage all yard operations, including monitoring and spot verification of services provided by third parties. Implement collaborative planning, forecasting and stock replenishment; optimise production allocation and load balance. Assess and minimise the impact of demand variation on capacity, productivity and inventory. Set and report operational KPIs to measure performance. Manage operational cost control to ensure the allocated budget is respected and monitored. QHSE, Compliance and Assurance: Ensure yard activities meet Vallourec requirements, applicable laws and regulatory expectations. Implement the QHSE Policy, establish and review QHSE objectives, and define action plans for continual improvement. Ensure training, toolbox meetings, drills and emergency response plans are delivered. Coordinate and implement audits. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and management standards, together with all applicable laws and regulations. Ensure contractors and subcontractors work in line with company procedures and QHSE rules. Leadership, People and Stakeholder Management: Provide visible leadership to the yard team and act as the key operational interface for clients, regulators and contractors. Set development plans and individual goals, and ensure employees complete the training required to perform their roles. Act as the yard contact for client and regulatory enquiries. Interact with the Company Shore Base Manager to support effective administration and execution of the contract. Act as focal point for TEEPU and company contractors and subcontractors. Qualifications: More than five years of experience in industrial operations and people management. One to three years of experience in the OCTG industry. Advanced operational knowledge and skills, with the ability to work under limited supervision while applying Vallourec work procedures. Advanced safety and quality maturity appropriate to the role. Proven leadership capability across the team.
