As an HPLC / LC-MS Laboratory Engineer, you will join a team of five scientists and report directly to the Technical Leader. You will work with a wide range of sample types, including small molecules, proteins, oligonucleotides, viral vectors, mRNA vaccines, peptides, formulation excipients, and nanoparticles. Thanks to your expertise in liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry, you will generate critical analytical data throughout every stage of pharmaceutical development, from early research phases to clinical and commercial stages. Your work will directly contribute to ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of tested products, supporting the delivery of safe and effective medicines to patients. Your key responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for: Applying existing analytical methods to determine the identity, purity, and assay of various products in compliance with GMP requirements; Applying existing analytical in the context of bioanalytical studies in compliance with GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and GcLP (Good Clinical Laboratory Practice) requirements; Developing, validating, and adapting analytical protocols to meet specific project needs; Performing analyses using state-of-the-art LC-MS instrumentation, including XevoTQ systems, QDa, and LC-SQD2; Conducting stability studies and QC release testing; Processing and interpreting analytical data; Preparing analytical reports and related scientific documentation; Skills you’ll need to bring To succeed in this role, you will bring: A scientific Bachelor's degree (BAC+3) or Master's degree (BAC+5); Initial professional experience in liquid chromatography and/or liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (LC-MS); Knowledge of analytical method application, validation, and development principles; The ability to interpret analytical data and draw scientific conclusions; Knowledge of GMP and/or GLP environments is considered an asset; Experience with Empower and/or MassLynx software is an asset.
