Role Overview The FPSO Lead HVAC Engineer is responsible for the engineering, design review, procurement follow-up, construction support, testing, and commissioning of all Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems for a major FPSO development. The role ensures HVAC systems comply with project specifications, international standards, HSE requirements, and operational performance objectives throughout all project phases. Key Responsibilities HVAC Engineering · Lead all HVAC engineering activities for the FPSO package. · Review HVAC philosophies, calculations, layouts and technical documentation. · Validate contractor engineering deliverables. · Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards and Company specifications. · Support technical reviews and design optimization. Construction & Commissioning · Monitor fabrication and installation activities. · Support FAT, SAT and commissioning activities. · Coordinate resolution of technical issues during construction. · Ensure mechanical completion and handover readiness. Interface Management · Coordinate with: o Process Engineering o Mechanical Engineering o Electrical Engineering o Instrumentation & Control o Marine Systems o Safety Engineering HSE · Promote HSE excellence throughout engineering and construction activities. · Ensure HVAC systems comply with hazardous area requirements and fire & gas philosophies. Qualifications · Engineering Degree (Mechanical or HVAC Engineering) · Minimum 15 years' experience in HVAC engineering. · Minimum 10 years on FPSO or offshore production facilities. Languages · Fluent English.
