QAQC Manager Department : Pôle International Site :    Emerainville (Paris) Hierarchical Position: Report to the Operations Manager   ASSIGNMENTS Ponticelli Frères, which is an industrial group with international activities providing technical to companies in the oil and gas industry, is looking for a QAQC Manager, based in its subsidiary in Angola. The selected applicant will have to carry out the following activities: 1. QAQC Activity o Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance to codes, standards, regulations, equipment specific specifications, and QMS requirements. o Advancing quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization. o Managing the development and implementation of the QMS for planning, fabrication, inspection, documentation, and operations activities including: o Planning duties within the QA/QC staff and related work schedules; o Establishing service standards for end users (i.e., internal department or external customer); o Identifying and developing QA/QC personnel certification requirements and continuing education/training needs; o Providing leadership, mentorship, and direction of all QA/QC personnel. o Taking full responsibility for hold-point releases once all QMS functions have been completed and the equipment is ready to go into the next work stage. o Developing and implementing risk-based inspection (RBI) activities and processes o Managing plant integrity through a failure analysis reporting system and following up on recommendations. o Oversee supervision of all visual inspections and NDE, including 3rd party subcontractors. o Managing inspection, NDE, and testing plans for new construction, repair work, and alterations. o Identify and develop solutions to correct inspection function deficiencies. o Manage construction processes, plant equipment, inspection and NDE personnel certification and QMS internal audits. 2. Welding activity  o Management of all welding procedures and qualifications and testing including. o Analyse welding requirements for specific projects ensuring the any already approved in house procedures are acceptable and generate new procedures specific to project requirements and needs. o Responsibility for the coordination of multiple projects and managing external test laboratories and Classification societies and Notified bodies with regard to welding procedures their approvals and testing . o Provide technical support with industry standards and specifications such as ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, AWS, BS EN, plus any other relevant standards which may be required. o Management and control of all materials and consumables for welder testing and procedures. o Coordinate failure analyses and root cause analysis on welding related issues if required. o Set up and control and maintenance of a welder data base. REQUIRED PROFILE o Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing through memos and engineering reports. o Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role o English mandatory
