WE ARE HIRING: Expatriate Head of Jewellery Location: Lagos, Nigeria Employment Type: Full-Time Position Type: Expatriate Industry: Luxury Retail / Jewellery ABOUT THE ROLE Our Client is seeking an experienced Head of Jewellery to lead its jewellery business in Nigeria, driving strategy, merchandising, sales, profitability, and relationships with HNWIs, UHNWIs, VIPs, and collectors. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement jewellery business strategies to drive growth and profitability. Oversee product selection, merchandising, pricing, collections, and inventory management. Drive sales performance and build relationships with HNWIs, UHNWIs, VIPs, and collectors. Lead exclusive client events, product launches, and bespoke jewellery sales initiatives. Manage, mentor, and develop high-performing sales and merchandising teams. Build partnerships with international jewellery brands, designers, and suppliers. Monitor market trends, competitors, and commercial performance. Ensure effective controls over high-value inventory, security, transactions, and compliance. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in luxury jewellery, high-end retail, or luxury goods. Proven experience leading a jewellery business, brand, or department. Strong international luxury jewellery market exposure. Established relationships with HNWIs/UHNWIs and VIP clientele. Expertise in merchandising, pricing, inventory management, and luxury sales. Strong commercial acumen, leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Willingness to relocate to Lagos, Nigeria, on an expatriate basis.
