Vacancies: Preparation Managers Preparers/Field Engineers Details: •    Start Date: Early 2026 •    Duration: Minimum 2 years (extendable) •    Location: Onshore: Early January 2025 / February 2025 move to offshore •    Salary: To be provided to shortlisted candidates •    Rotation: 9 weeks on / 3 weeks off for first onshore phase (Commissioning) until March and then offshore 4X4 until end of the project. •    Working Schedule: 7 days/week; 12 hours/day Key Knowledge & Skills Commissioning Process Understanding: Be familiar with the entire commissioning and pre-commissioning flow, from mechanical completion (C1) to start-up (C4). Documentation Management: Proficiency in preparing, reviewing, and compiling essential documents such as: Job Cards/Work Packs: Detailed, step-by-step instructions for specific tasks, including resource requirements, safety checks, and QA protocols. Inspection and Test Records (ITRs) / Checklists: Forms to document the completion and sign-off of tests and inspections. Vendor Documents & Drawings: Familiarity with "Approved for Construction" (AFC) drawings, vendor manuals, and project specifications. Method Statements (MS) & Risk Assessments (RA): Procedures outlining the safe execution of specific activities, including potential hazards and mitigation measures. Permit to Work (PTW) System: In-depth knowledge of the project's safety procedures and the ability to act as an authorized person to receive or issue permits. System Knowledge: A strong understanding of the systems you will be commissioning (e.g., mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control systems). Troubleshooting: Ability to identify and report technical issues (punch list items) and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.  Core Responsibilities Preparation: Ensure all necessary documents, tools, equipment, consumables, and spare parts are ready before starting work. Coordination: Liaise with engineering, construction, QA/QC, planning, and operations teams to ensure alignment and smooth handovers. Execution Support: Assist supervisors and vendor representatives in executing field activities and performing checklists as instructed. HSE Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with established safety procedures and daily HSE inspections. Progress Reporting: Maintain daily logs and provide feedback on the status of commissioning activities. Quality Assurance: Verify calibration validity of testing equipment and ensure all sign-offs and certifications are obtained and compiled correctly.  Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the oil & gas sector and in Angola or other African countries. Fluency in English; proficiency in Portuguese is an advantage.
