ICSS Engineer

Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS) Engineer   ·      Start Date: As soon as possible ·      Duration: 12 months (renewable) ·      Employment Status: Residential / 5 days per week ·      Required Mobility: Ile-de-France region     Job Description: ·      PID control ·      Technical specifications for instrumentation and control systems (DCS/SIS) ·      Datasheets for instrumentation and control (I&C) systems ·      Development/revision of control architectures (ICSS) ·      Participation in basic and/or detailed ICSS studies ·      Preparation of functional specifications: functional analysis, control narrative, cause & effect matrices, logic diagrams ·      Interdisciplinary review of internal documentation (specs) ·      Material requests for I&C (for information) ·      Technical table of received quotes ·      Material requests for I&C (for purchase) ·      Review and comment on all documentation produced by Suppliers ·      On-site design for the construction phase, including field connections, cable tray routing design, instrument air duct routing design, etc. ·      Material stripping reports ·      Wiring diagrams ·      Interface relay panel design for electrical signals ·      3D model design support ·      Control room and rack layouts ·      Instrument and junction box (point and line) placement arrangements ·      Development of technical documentation such as backup narratives and cause-and-effect analyses for safety systems (ESD, HIPPS, FGS) ·      Knowledge of video surveillance systems ·      Pipeline leak monitoring systems (PLMS) ·      Loop diagrams ·      Participation in validation activities for the installation aspects of control, safety, fire, and gas systems (number of cabinets, loop types, etc.) ·      Participation in HAZOP activities ·      Field testing of control systems in FAT and SAT as a member and team leader.   Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Instrumentation and Controls or related fields. Minimum 10 years’ experience in oil & gas sector especially in Wellsite, Gathering Station and CPF production facilities. ·      Experience: 5 to 25 years of experience Experience in ICSS/PLC systems, preferably in oil and gas automation Strong understanding of safety system, DCS, ESD, F&G, SCADA and industrial communication protocols. Familiar with ICSS vendor (i.e. Honeywell, Yokogawa, Emerson) Fluent in English
