Senior Operation Geologist

Start: July 2026 Duration: 12 months with possibility of extension Rotation: 4*4 Location: Windhoek, Namibia Office with missions onshore and offshore Main Task (details job description to be shared to shortlisted candidates): Point for all geological operations, supervising deepwater rigs in a frontier environment, fast-tracked well planning and execution, liaison with service providers and engineering teams, QAQC of drilled / logged data, invoice and contract management with service providers, samples management and exportation for geology and DST teams, management of well site geologists, logging programs and geological prognoses and compilation of well-critical documents.  Qualifications: Education: GEOSCIENCE diploma I.F.P CERTIFICATION (INSTITUT FRANCAIS DU PETROL) Certified for: o  BOSIET, including EBS (emergency breathing system) o  Offshore medical certificate Experience: ·      20 YEARS IN OILFIELD GEOLOGY ·      15 years in operational geology. ·      Extensive experience in oil and gas industry, worldwide in varied geological environments as (but not limited to): clastics, carbonates, unconventional, basement, salt, channels, turbidites, etc. ·      Experience in varied and complex wells as: exploration and appraisal, offshore, vertical and deviated, sidetracks, ultradeep water, high temperature-pressure wells.
