About the Role We are seeking an experienced SPS Engineering Lead to lead and coordinate all Subsea Production System (SPS) engineering activities for a major offshore oil and gas project. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership across the SPS package, overseeing engineering delivery from design and procurement through fabrication, testing, installation, commissioning and handover. The role will involve close coordination with contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary project teams. Key Responsibilities Lead all SPS engineering activities throughout project execution. Act as the primary technical focal point for Subsea Trees, Wellheads, Running Tools, Installation Equipment and associated SPS hardware and control systems . Lead and supervise SPS engineers and discipline specialists. Review and approve engineering calculations, specifications, analyses, procedures and technical documentation. Ensure engineering deliverables are completed to schedule, quality and project requirements. Manage contractor and supplier engineering performance and technical deliverables. Lead technical reviews, engineering meetings and decision-making processes. Manage technical queries, deviations, concessions, non-conformances and engineering risks. Coordinate SPS interfaces with subsea controls, pipelines, flowlines, structures, drilling, completions and offshore operations. Provide engineering support to procurement, fabrication, FAT, SIT, installation, commissioning and handover. Participate in technical bid evaluations, supplier assessments and equipment qualification activities. Ensure compliance with applicable project specifications, API, ISO, DNV and industry standards. Support technical risk management, cost optimisation and engineering change management. Provide engineering leadership during offshore installation and commissioning activities. Maintain overall technical integrity of the SPS package throughout project delivery. Mentor and develop SPS engineering personnel and promote consistent engineering practices. Requirements Degree in Mechanical, Subsea, Drilling Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 15 years' experience in oil and gas projects. Minimum 10 years' experience in Subsea Production Systems (SPS) . Proven experience leading SPS engineering teams on major offshore developments. Strong experience with Subsea Trees, Wellheads, Running Tools and SPS hardware . Experience across engineering, procurement, fabrication, testing, installation and commissioning. Strong knowledge of EPC/EPFS project execution and contractor management. Experience with FAT, SIT, EFAT and offshore commissioning. Strong understanding of API, ISO, DNV and relevant subsea standards. Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management and multidisciplinary interface experience. Previous experience with major international oil & gas operators or SPS OEMs is advantageous. Experience in Caspian Sea developments is an advantage. Fluent English is mandatory.
