Service Description Division: Job Location: Beijing, China Direction: Job Status (Residential/Rotational): Residential Job title Onshore QA/QC Lead Situation in organization (enclose a copy of your organization chart) Position Title n+1: Onshore Package Manager Position Title n+2: Project Director Job dimensions Dimension Managériale: Dimension Economique: Dimension fonctionnelle: Activities The job holder is responsible, within the ABSHERON FFD ONSHORE QAQC Team and under the QAQC Manager for following-up, monitoring and supervising QA & QC activities carried out by EPC ONSHORE Contractors and Subcontractors in the Contractor’s offices and workshops during engineering, procurement and fabrication phases and at the Construction site during the Construction, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning phases, ensuring that his discipline’s contractual and technical requirements are duly fulfilled by ONSHORE EPC Contractor and/or Subcontractors. In this respect, and to ascertain that the facilities are built as per the project requirements, the job holder verify Contractor’s and/or Subcontractors’ QA/QC documentation including Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), welding and NDT procedures, and quality control plans, drawings, fabrication procedures and methodologies, and ensure that Contractor and/or Subcontractors have adequate equipment, resources, means and manpower to performed the job with the required quality level and to compete it in due time. He also reports on a daily basis directly to the ONSHORE Package Manager. The job holder is in continuous liaison with and reports to the COMPANY QA/QC Manager, enforcing decisions/directions taken at ABSHERON FFD Management level. The job holder manage and coordinate the work of several QA/QC Inspectors and Supervisors (Material, welding, NDT and coating supervisors etc) throughout engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction phases and, as such, is acting as a team leader, informing and motivating them adequately and giving them clear priorities/directions for the performance of their duties. He also provides them with support and assistance in their organization, job scheduling and coordination with other disciplines to ensure quality and timely completion of their work and implementation of Corporate / Project QA/QC Management System. The job holder: • Coordinates with certifying authorities and third-party inspectors to ensure compliance with regulatory and Company requirements; • Supervises inspections across disciplines (mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC, coating), ensuring adherence to approved procedures • Coordinates and reviews/validate vendor qualifications dossier • Monitors contractor performance and ensure timely resolution of non-conformances, deviations, and technical queries • Tracks quality KPIs and ensure continuous improvement initiatives are implemented • Ensures proper archiving of quality records and support the compilation of final documentation for handover • Participates in internal and external audits and contributes to corrective action planning and follow-up • The job holder organizes and participates to planned inspection through RFI, random inspections and audits, assists to regular Construction meetings related to his discipline with EPC Contractor and/or Subcontractors, performs QA/QC and/or HSE visits and tours... and ensures an adequate reporting to the Company Construction Manager and Onshore Package Manager (areas of concerns, problems encountered in its discipline during construction and implementation both by COMPANY Construction Team and EPC Contractor and his Subcontractors). The Job holder participates together with his supervision team to the review and comments of EPC Contractor’s and/or Subcontractors’ Project Site documentation applicable in the perimeter of the relevant ONSHORE Construction site (Project Site QA/QC plan, EPC Contractor procedures, Construction plans, ITP, NDT reports …) and ensures their full implementation by EPC Contractor and/or Subcontractors. As a general manner, the job holder provides assistance to the Construction team with all matters related to his discipline. The job holder is also accountable for demonstrating, individually, an exemplary behavior with regard to HSE rules & requirements. Context and environment The Absheron Conventional Gas & Condensates field is located offshore Azerbaijan Republic in the Caspian Sea in 500 meters depth, at about 100km southeast of Baku, 25km north-east of Shah Deniz field and 34km south of Oil Rocks production and processing facilities. The offshore subsea gas pipeline will be tied into the greenfield onshore Central Processing Facility (CPF) for Gas Condensate separation and compression. The onshore CPF facility has been designed for a capacity of 450 MMscfd of gas and 38,000 barrels per day of condensate. The project aims at supplying natural gas for both domestic and international export market via the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP). Condensate is routed to Sangachal Terminal for stabilization Accountabilities This position is starting from the FID phase sanction for the EPC ONSHORE phase activities until the completion of the Development phase. The job holder shall be responsible for the supervision and coordination of all activities related to ONSHORE QAQC activities for Absheron FFD project during the EPC phase. The job holder will perform this work in accordance with Project procedures and TotalEnergies General Specifications, Project rules and guidelines. Qualifications/Experience required • Professional Experience (years): min 10 years’ Experience in O&G QA/QC Onshore activities on large scale international projects • Experience in similar position (years): mini 7 in similar role, background with TotalEnergies General Specifications • Level / Diploma: Engineer in Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering, or equivalent (Holding AWS, PCN/ COFREND, CSWIP or equivalent certification will be a plus) • Experience in managing inspection teams and coordinating with contractors and certifying bodies. Strong leadership, coordination, and reporting skills in a multicultural project environment. • Strong knowledge of international standards (API, ISO, ASME, IEC) Proficiency in inspection methods including NDT, welding, coating, and equipment verification. • Languages: English is mandatory - Starting date: 01 October 2026 - Duration: 12 months (total 3 years) - Renewable: Yes - Location: Beijing, China during the detailed engineering period.
