Project Cost Controller

Responsibilities: To ensure the control, monitoring and analysis of the project’s costs and financial performance, guaranteeing the reliability of financial information, budget monitoring, the analysis of variances and support for decision-making by the Project Management and Finance Management teams. To draw up and monitor the project’s activity plans, budget and forecasts. Implement and ensure compliance with the management procedures defined by the Company and the Group. Monitor the project’s actual costs, revenue, margins, productivity and cash flow. Analyse the project’s financial and operational performance and report to management bodies. Define, develop and monitor management indicators, dashboards and financial reports. Propose corrective actions following analysis of variances between the budget, forecast and actual figures. Provide technical support to project management in relation to cost control, economic analysis and forward-looking studies. Analyse financial risks and alert senior management to potential impacts on the project’s results. Contribute to improving the project’s financial performance and ensuring sound financial management. Qualifications: A degree or higher education qualification in Accounting, Finance, Management, Economics, Engineering, Management Accounting or a related field. Higher education qualifications equivalent to Bac +3 / Bac +5 will be an advantage. A minimum of 3 to 4 years’ experience in management control, cost control, financial project control, financial management or similar roles. Experience in industrial projects, construction, Oil & Gas or EPC will be considered an advantage. Knowledge of cost control. Knowledge of general and cost accounting. Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, reporting and results analysis. Ability to develop management indicators, dashboards and performance analyses. Experience with SAP. Good command of advanced Excel and reporting tools. Ability to analyse variances, financial risks and corrective actions. Rigour, attention to detail and reliability in producing financial information. Organisational skills, ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure. Ability to communicate with operational teams and senior management. Confidentiality, professional ethics, team spirit, proactivity and autonomy. Business-level spoken and written English.
