Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities: Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance for: Port cranes (RTG, STS, mobile cranes). Cargo handling equipment (reach stackers, forklifts). Port infrastructure (berths, electrical systems, workshops). Ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability. Manage and control the maintenance budget. Lead and develop local technical teams and coordinate external contractors. Implement and optimize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). Monitor maintenance KPIs (downtime, MTBF, MTTR). Ensure compliance with international standards and company procedures. Support procurement of spare parts and inventory management. Drive continuous improvement and reliability initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering. Minimum 8–10 years of experience in maintenance management (port, mining, or heavy industry preferred). Strong knowledge of port equipment and maintenance practices. Experience working in Africa or remote locations is a plus. Fluency in English (Portuguese is an advantage).
