Scope of Service Division : JV Assets                                                                                                       REF: E/P Direction: Production                                                                             Security Coord: Obagi GRA/OFS                                                                  Situation in organisation Position to report: Onshore Security Manager, OML58                                                                                                                                                                             .   Service dimensions In charge of security in onshore field. Implementation of Site/Field security Plan in accordance with the Company Security Plan. Monitoring and checking of security systems, personnel and equipment.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / Activities Develop, maintain, implement and exercise the OML58 security plan. Undertake regular security inspections / rounds of the Obagi GRA/Ogbogu Flow Station (OFS) to ensure the continuation of appropriate security measures. Responsible for the security surrounding wellhead locations inside the GRA. Working with other site personnel to conduct checks of persons and vehicles coming and leaving the GRA/OFS to ensure that unauthorised equipment/items are not taken out. Regulate access into the GRA and surrounding facilities. Coordinate the activities of Government Security Forces (GSF) deployed to the sites. Responsible for the deployment of the members of the Nigerian legion deployed to the GRA and surrounding facilities. Conduct security inductions for staff, contractors and visitors. Vet personnel deserving of access badges into the GRA and surrounding facilities. Hold regular meetings and interactive sessions with security managers of contracted firms working in the site. Liaison with members of the GSF within and outside OML58 locations for personnel and facilities within Obagi sites, when authorized. Information gathering, collation and dissemination. Crimes investigation and production of accurate investigation reports. Attend security meetings and any other meetings relevant to the security of the GRA and surrounding facilities. Ensure that all security equipment, including surveillance and intrusion detection device are used correctly, tested, calibrated and maintained. Ensure that all personnel are aware of security procedures and apply the procedures. Ensure personnel having specific security duties can be identified, the personnel understand their duties and responsibilities and that they receive the appropriate instructions. Report to the relevant authorities and maintain records of occurrences which threaten security. And any other duties that may be assigned. Context and environment Rotational High risk, hostile and volatile environment with unpredictable situations Moving around the GRA, OFS and surrounding facilities between OML58 and other sites. Accountabilities Responsibility for; Security Protection of company personnel and assets in Location. Administrative effectiveness of all security activities. Qualifications / experience required Previous industrial security related experience. Military / Police background. Bachelor’s degree. Good management of men and material.
