Turnover Engineer

Start Date: As soon as practically possible Duration: 1 (one) year (renewal not guaranteed) Status: Single Employment Type: Resident. Qualifications: Higher National Certificate (HNC) / equivalent (or higher) in either an Electrical or Instrument or Mechanical Engineering discipline. 10+ years varied and hands-on Construction, Hook-up, MC Coordination and Completions Technical experience. Working knowledge and experience in oil and gas industry codes, specifications, and practices of International Standards; including various equipment certifications. Experience in coordinating and working with multidiscipline teams in the safe execution and turnover of systems between Construction, Commissioning and Operations teams. Experience in developing and managing Limits of System Handover (LOSH) drawings and dossiers. Onshore/Offshore Greenfield and Brownfield oil and gas projects experience. Previous experience working in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is an advantage. Competencies/Skills/Other: Working knowledge of various Completions Management Systems. Working knowledge on the development of MC, RFDC and SH Handover Dossiers. Effective verbal and written English language skills to ensure effective reporting and collaboration. Comfortable to communicate with and ability to influence, personnel of all levels whilst working in a remote and multi-cultured environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools. A valid UAE driving license or the ability to obtain one. Duties to be carried out: Support the delivery of all Completions/Turnover activities and documentation. Day to day operation, maintenance and monitoring of the Completions Management System (CMS), including tag entry, entering Inspection Test Records (ITR), punch list coordination, Mechanical Completion (MC), Ready for Dynamic Commissioning (RFDC) and System Handover (SH) Progress, Monitoring of Engineering/Site Queries (EQs), Handover Certification and Management of Change. Interface with the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractors to ensure all MC documentation, tri-party walkdowns, punch lists and handovers are in place. Contribute to the development and preparation of Mechanical Completion and Commissioning Handover Dossiers in a timely manner. Support the Lead Completions Engineer and Construction / Commissioning teams as required. Provide input into Mechanical Completion, Construction and Commissioning planning schedules. Provide hands-on, on-site completions support during construction, leak testing and commissioning phases of projects as required. Support Construction and Commissioning teams with ITR completion, ITR submission, reporting and other Completions activities as required.
