Mechanical Technician (UAE Locals/Expats) - Onshore

Location: Onshore, Dubai UAE Start: To be confirmed Status: Permanent/Staff Rotation: 28*28, onshore Open locally and to expats Qualifications -      Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or another appropriate field.   Experience -       5 years post certificate maintenance experience in oil/gas industry or, 5 to 10 years post apprenticeship experience of oil and gas field facilities. -      Experience in rotating (Gas turbines, Diesel engines, Pumps, etc..) and static equipment. -      Practical experience working with gas turbine generator sets. -      Strong problem-solving skills. -      Experience in computerised maintenance management systems.   Competencies -      Must be self-motivated and capable of making rational decisions based on available information and prevailing conditions. -      Must be able to read and interpret electrical circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics as well as Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID). -      Must be able to interact and communicate effectively in English, in writing and verbally, with individuals in a cross-cultural environment internally and externally as required. -      Valid United Arab Emirates (UAE) driving license.
